Mission: The JIC, a United Way partner agency, was founded to assist Spanish-speaking residents in Denver by providing interpretation services and legal information. Since its founding more than 25 year ago, the JIC has seen its mission expand by providing services in more than 65 languages and by adding five additional program services which include: English as a Second Language classes, immigration services, victim assistance, legal information and client services. The JIC now services the entire state of Colorado. In addition to serving the needs of persons who may be immigrants, the JIC also provides a variety of outreach services and public education regarding legal-related topics in various languages.
