Causes: Women, Womens Service Clubs
Mission: The junior league of tulsa, inc. , is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. It's purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Programs: Community involvement: an organization of women promoting voluntarism and community improvement. Jlt works directly with community partners to provide trained volunteers and financial resources to promote women and children in need or transition in the tulsa area. Some of our community partners include the community food bank of eastern oklahoma, tulsa public schools, philbrook museum of art, saint francis hospital, resonance center for women, street school, tulsa city-county library.
training and education: training and education provided to members to equip them for effective action and leadership in the community. Members benefit from training, speaker series, and hands on experience through their volunteer roles and membership in jlt. Members pay yearly dues for membership programming.
