Mission: The junior league of san francisco, inc. Is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Programs: Community grants and programs - the jlsf invests in the community in the form of direct program funding to non-profit agencies and enabling funds. Enabling funds are direct grants given to agencies with specific needs that can be made with small grants ( $10000).
volunteer education and development - reflects the jlsf mission statement of promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The jlsf headquarters provides office space for training and development of volunteers. The provisional education project, touch a truck, home tour, cook book, and women at the center honors (watch) train league volunteers in sales and advertising.
