Mission: Juha is a non-profit multi-cultural arts company. We take our name from a character in Arabic folk tales who - like Coyote in Native American traditions, the Fool in the tarot and playing card decks, Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and John in Black American folklore - is both foolish and wise, sees what the masses miss but sometimes overlooks the obvious, can be easily fooled, but possesses the natural gift of a trickster. Juha is open to all that the world offers, and may soar into flight as he leaps from a cliff - or just fall flat on his face.
