Mission: Joining our youth, inc. Is an independent, community-based organization of trained volunteers providing targeted services for youth aging out of foster care and other at-risk youth referred by local social service agencies.
Programs: Support program-organization trains and assigns mentors for youths aging out of foster care or at risk youth. This program also provides starter kits when the youth initially moves out on their own. Starter kits include necessary items for basic living needs. This program also includes an operation called trendy threads. Trendy threads is a store of donated clothing where the youths can shop for necessary clothing needs free of charge.
tutoring program-organization hires qualified education professionals to provide tutoring services for youths aging out of foster care or at risk youth.
transportation program-organization pays for youths aging out of foster care or at risk youth to have professional driving lessons in order to assist in their attempts to become self-supporting responsible adults. This program also provides bicycles and/or bus passes.
