Causes: In-Home Assistance
Mission: The mission of the jim and alda frucci senior assistance foundation (frucci foundation) is to promote social and emotional well-being for financially distressed, under-privileged or under-served seniors living in northern utah, by providing goods and services that will allow them to live a productive and enjoyable life and remain in the comfort and privacy of their own homes.
Programs: The foundation received a grant for 540. 00 worth of vouchers to be used at the deseret industries thrift stores, located throughout utah. These stores are sponsored by the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. These vouchers (each worth 20. 00) have been distributed to low income seniors.
a food drive held over the holidays netted approximately 30 boxes of non-perishable food, which has been distributed to low income seniors in the northern utah area. The foundation continues to seek monetary donations, but the current economic environment has made contributions difficult to acquire. The foundation will continue to work through 2011 to sponsor fundraisers and search for donors.
