Programs: Public access and enjoyment of parcels of land totaling 287 acres more or less, in the towns of marlboro and halifax, vermont was provided. The public outreach effort inviting use continued through posted info on the front porch forum, a local internet bulletin board that emails each posting to all members in marlboro. Postings are also available to members in all bordering towns. People who inquired were added to the mailing list. A web based registration was used for the first time this year. Trail and historical site maintenance activities included the fourteenth annual work day, august 12 which attracted 20 volunteers. Work included mowing and branch trimming of major recreational trails and historical sites, construction of rock paths through wet areas on a heavily used trail, and miscellaneous drainage work.
