Mission: Jazz Hands For Autism uses the power of music to create avenues to expression and employment for individuals on the autism spectrum. As a workforce development program, we leverage existing music interests to provide workforce development training and placement in appropriate music-based work opportunities
Results: Jazz Hands For Autism has provided individualized music-based training, vocational development and/or job placement for over 200 musicians with autism, successfully found 150+ gigs where 67% were for pay to provide not only revenue for their musicians but also to allow them to pursue their music careers. Collaborative partnerships with the Melrose Trading Post, Kayne Eras Center, Music is Unity and the Cities of Pasadena and Culver City created work and internship opportunities for their musicians to apply and expand their talents.

Programs: (1) The Jazz Hands Concert Series: a semi-annual concert series and performance platform for neurodivergent artists, (2) The Jazz Hands Musicians Academy: an individualized post-secondary music education and vocational program that prepares aspiring musicians on the autism spectrum for careers in music, and (3) The Jazz Hands Junior Academy: in home and virtual music lessons taught by RBT trained musicians and graduates of the Jazz Hands Musicians Academy
