Causes: Philanthropy
Mission: Provide research grants, scholarships and awards to individuals and other appropriate organizations that are advancing the discipline of the science of photogrammetry, remote sensing and spatial information.
Programs: Travel grants - to provide partial support to qualified applicants to participate in an isprs conference held in prague, czech republic july 12-19, 2016. A total of 62 individuals were supported as a result of a jury selection from qualified applicants.
international workshops - to provide support for hosting international workshops focused on geospatial education, awareness and capacity building in the form of three isprs sponsored student summer schools. Financial support was provided for the following student summer schools and seminars: 2016 brazil summer school, 14th student consortium held in prague, czech republic, and 15th student consortium held in diyatalawa, sri lanka. All participants for these summer schools are selectedby the organizers from a pool of applicants and the isprs foundation support provides funds for classroom and laboratory facilities, educational materials, transportation for events, meals and instructors.
