Mission: The illinois propane education and research council was established for the advancement of the propane industry in illinois. Its main goals include: educating the public about the uses, efficiency, safety and economy of propane, informing consumers about the safe and proper use of propane equipment, raising the professional level in the industry through employee safety training and education, and promoting continued research and development of clean, efficient propane equipment.
Programs: To develop programs to enhance consumer and employee safety and training, to provide research and development, and to inform and educate the public about the safe use and handling of propane and propane appliances.
