Mission: The mission of Into The Brush, Inc. is to promote learning to paint fine art while rediscovering Ely, Minnesota’s wilderness in the process.
Target demographics: People learn basic fine art painting skills and an appreciation for our wilderness which is fading due to today's digital distractions
Direct beneficiaries per year: 15 students learn the basics of painting.
Geographic areas served: Northeastern Minnesota on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness
Programs: wilderness-based art programs where participants stay in cabins on a lake, observe the wild world artistically for a few hours and then come back to the studio to learn to paint what we saw.
