Mission: Stimulate mammalian genome research
Programs: Annual international conference - the 27th imgc was held in salamanca, spain, sept 15-18, 2013. There were 148 participants from 14 countries that presented their research in platform or poster formats over this 4-day conference.
student awards - meeting registration fees were waived and lodging was provided for 15 trainees. A symposium was held where trainees could present their work in front of an audience mainly consisting of their peers. Prizes for best presentations (oral and poster) were presented. A mentor lunch was held for casual career development conversations.
publication "mammalian genome" - scholarly peer reviewed articles are published in mammalian genome. 6 issues plus a special issue were published in 2013.
