Causes: Job Training
Mission: To provide leadership, advocacy and services on behalf of all native americans within the geographic area of the state of louisiana.
Programs: To support employment and training activities for native americans in order: to develop more fully the academic, occupational, and literacy skills of such individuals; to make such individuals more competitive in the workforce; and to promote the economic and social development of native american communities in accordance with the goals and values of such communities. Supplemental youth funding is also awarded to help low income native american youth, between the ages of 14 and 21, acquire the educational skills, training, and the support needed to achieve academic and employment success and successfully transition to careers and productive adulthood.
