Mission: To assist homeless and low income families with affordable housing options and housing related support services.
Programs: In 2017, inspire international cdc, inc (inspire) successfully renewed 623 individuals that participated in the georgia housing voucher program. Each individual suffer with mental illness and/or various disabilities. Without the assistance of inspire, many of these people would become homeless again. We serviced, on average, between 37 to 62 individuals per month. Our support services ensure their leases are signed, homes are inspected under state regulations, georgia housing voucher paperwork is renewed and updated for the year. Out of the 623 serviced, inspire completed 18 applications for individuals that qualified to transfer to section(8) program.
through our community outreach initiative, inspire was able to service over 25 families in december 2017. Through the generosity of community partners, we were able to celebrate the holidays with families in need by providing food and toys to families housed at motel 6 in joneboro, ga. In february 2017, we were able to provide much needed childcare products to a teenage mother. Although we do not advocate teen pregnancy, we sponsored this teen who was in dire need of financial assistance by hosting a babyshower on her behalf.
