I've found the IJW to be a great place to meet open-minded Jewish women in the Houston area. The Second Thursday discussions are lively and informative and provide a safe place to have frank conversations about contemporary issues informed by Jewish teachings and values. I'm pretty shy and usually have a hard time joining groups, but this group of women is friendly, welcoming, intelligent, and fun.
