Mission: Our Mission: The Indie Author Book Expo (IABE) empowers readers and independent authors to build better books together. Connecting with the community through book clubs, book signings, readings, writing groups, and finding paid opportunities for independent authors we are breaking stigmas on self-published books every day, and making reading an experience, not just another book.
Results: We've sold 2368 self-published books, held 7 successful book fairs with more than 2500 readers attending each year, donated $3800 to The Food Bank of Iowa over the last 2 years, given away 308 free indie books to areas in need, andwon an award for best new nonprofit in 2019 in Iowa.
