Mission: To impact systems and policies so as to ensure the well-being of youth and families involved in the juvenile justice system across indiana. This is accomplished by advocacy; education, training & technical assistance; promoting exemplary practices and being a hub for information and referral.
Programs: The family support services program (fssp) is an intensive psychotherapeutic, home-based intervention program designed as an alternative to out-of-home placement. The program provides comprehensive wraparound services for youth and families.
aftercare for indiana through mentoring/aim provides support to indianas youth in transitioning from out-of-home placement back into the community, through caring adult mentoring relationships and programming that begins in the juvenile correctional facilities and continues in the community.
the department of corrections program strives to reduce high-risk behavior, juvenile deliquency, and poor academic performance by providing additional support through a one-to-one mentoring relationship.
