Mission: To promote the preservation and expansion of affordable housing in indiana, and to promote and serve the interests of persons actively involved in affordable hosuing in indiana.
Programs: The organization was organized to provide a voice for the affordable housing industry as legislation was being introduced in the indiana legislature with respect to amending the statute governing the assessment of section 42 properties that would adversely affect the owners, operators and developers of affordable housing properties throughout indiana.
the organization is also a voice in the affordable housing industry as a whole and communicating with its membership regarding legislative and administrative matters on the local, state and federal level as well as other matters affecting the affordable housing industry. The organization also sponsors an annual affordable housing conference, which focuses on current issues and legislation affecting the industry.
