I have been volunteering at Trinity Free Clinic for over 10 years. You might not think that there would be a need for free health care in Hamilton County but you would be wrong. As a nurse, it is rewarding to be able to help provide care for children, many of whom have recently arrived in the United States. I speak Spanish, which helps with many of our patients. But the clinic has volunteer interpreters for most of the languages that families we serve speak. Most of the clinic front office staff also speak Spanish. Working here, I feel like a significant part of the team. My ideas and suggestions are always welcomed.

Volunteering as an RN at TFC for the last 11 yrs has been a very rewarding experience. There is always something new to learn. Over the years , I have worked with so many wonderful, skilled, wise and professional volunteers, all with good hearts. The clinic staff are superstars, dedicated, flexible, always gracious, appreciative, supportive and helpful to volunteers, as well as to each other. The clients who are mainly low income, uninsured or immigrants are welcomed with respect and consideration, and well served with multi services of acute and specialty clinics, dental services, social services, pharmaceuticals and referrals when needed. I am gratified and fulfilled, to be able to use decades of healthcare experience and intuition, in ways that serve the community .

After retiring from private medical practice, I started volunteering at TFC (nearly 10 years ago!!) It's been a great way to continue to see patients and to serve those people who do not have access to or cannot afford to seek medical care.

I am a 22-year volunteer veteran of the Trinity Free Clinic (TFC). Additionally, I annually financially support the TFC based on my first-hand experience in seeing the good that they do in providing much-needed medical care to the uninsured and under-insured populations of Hamilton County Indiana. Not one penny of financial donations or support is wasted. This is an amazing community outreach, and, unfortunately, a very necessary one.

The Trinity Free Clinic Inc (TFC) is an amazing organization that serves the uninsured and underinsured residents of Hamilton County, Indiana. While on paper Hamilton County is the most affluent county in our state, the number of both documented and undocumented residents in need of the basic medical services that the TFC provides is astounding. Founded on the Catholic ideals of service to those in need, the TFC provides care for all, irrespective of religious beliefs (if any), gender, race, national origin, and immigration status. I am humbled to have worked for over 20 years with the vast array of professionals who volunteer their time, talent, and treasure to the TFC. They, and the patients that we serve, have become my second family.

I have been volunteering at Trinity Free Clinic for almost 2 years and I can't say enough good things! The relationships that I have formed and the care that I see everyone expressing have been truly an incredible thing. I have been able to volunteer in many different clinics, acute care, women's health, and pediatrics to name a few, and have been able to assist with COVID vaccinations. It is an excellent place for anyone from any walk of life to come and receive quality care.

I've been volunteering in the eye clinic for over 5 years, and every time is a gift. Trinity has a compassionate group of volunteers committed to serving others. My role in the eye clinic has been as beneficial to me as it has been for the patients I see. The patients are genuinely appreciative of how Trinity can help, whether it's seeing better through the eye clinic, or benefitting from the dental, diabetes, hypertension or podiatry clinic. It's a place that makes you feel good about humanity and our role in serving others.

I’ve been a Spanish interpreter here for over seven years, and it’s a great place to work! The other volunteers are all super friendly and dedicated, and the clinic is very well run. It’s a wonderful resource to help the low income neighbors in our community.

Trinity Free Clinic is the most wonderful organization I’ve ever volunteered at! There is an outpouring of kindness and practical assistance to all those who need help. There are many people who are good and hardworking who are uninsured and need medical help for themselves and their families. They can come to the clinic and find wonderful doctors, nurses, dentists, and pharmacists who are volunteering their time to give them excellent care. It is such a joy to work there because everyone is so kind and helpful. It is a great nonprofit organization!!

Trinity Free Clinic makes a huge impact in their community. Patients and volunteers are at the heart of everything they do. Medical and dental services are provided to those in need. Ancillary services are often available too. Their new mobile unit allows the clinic to reach those that aren't able to get to a medical office. The clinic and their staff are a blessing to the community!

I have been volunteering at Trinity for over a year now and I love what we do. The people we help are so very appreciative and nice. I also work at LensCrafters where we send people for adjustments after their glasses arrive. I enjoy getting to see them with their completed glasses and the smiles on their faces. They praise Trinity for the work they do in all fields of Healthcare. I plan to continue volunteering after I retire as it is such fulfilling work.

I have been most impressed by the expertise and dedication of volunteers and staff in their service to disadvantaged community members. Great care is taken to greet and treat these patients with dignity and compassion. Trinity Free Clinic has earned the trust and reliance of patients for basic health care needs including vaccinations, pediatrics, dentistry, women's health, vision care, hypertension and a variety of minor illnesses and injuries. Our entire community is both stronger and healthier due to the service of Trinity Free Clinic to the community.

Can you imagine that a lollipop still soothes the tears after a child receives their immunizations for school? Working in the pediatric clinic at TRinity gives the health care team reason to smile as students get prepared for their new schools in a new country. Parents offer sincere “thanks” to us as we strive for wellness in our community.

I've been volunteering at Trinity Free Clinic for seven years. I've been an ophthalmic technician, pharmacy assistant and driver of the mobile health clinic. I've also done odd jobs as the need arises. The work is quite rewarding as I witness the assistance we give those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

I am a clerk at Trinity Free Clinic. We provide medical, dental and mental health to clients that do not have health insurance of under insured. Our patients are truly appreciative of the care they are given at the Clinic. Some of the patients arrive at the clinic very sick and an ambulance
is called. Others just have a cold or ear ache. We also have a small pharmacy on site that serve our patients. Some need their teeth cleaned and cavities filled. We serve all ages.We have a social worker who can recommend where people can go for more help. We also give vaccines
for children and adults. During the pandemic the clinic also did testing. The best thing is that all of the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and clerks are volunteers. I like being able to help!
