Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: The purpose of independent resources, inc. Is to function as a resource center to assist persons with disabilities in achieving and maintaining individual lifestyles. The organization believes in personal empowerment, independence, and community education.
Programs: Under the organization's single major program, five core services are provided: information and referral, advocacy, independent living skills, peer counseling/peer support, and transition services. During the fiscal year, 458 individuals benefited from the services provided by the organization, and 1,220 referrals were made.
