Causes: Civil Rights, Disabilities, Disabled Persons Rights
Mission: To increase the impact of beautiful, functional products in our everyday lives and in the global economy.
Programs: During fy17, the ifdf aims to produce events that elevate the disabled voice so we can speak to our wants, our needs and our desires. Specific themes will include making hearing aids available over the counter, the 71% of disabled consumers who have invisible disabilities, and designs that fix things rather than fixing us. Beyond events, the ifdf aims to start providing grants and resources to disabled entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.
