Programs: Mile high community loan fund (mhclf) provides early stage, short-term loans to affordable housing, non-profit community facilities, and neighborhood revitalization project developers throughout the state of colorado. In 2017, mhclf approved 13 loans for $11,852,000 and closed 12 loans for $12,752,000. These loans will support the development of 471 units of affordable housing and 17,000 square feet of community space. Mhclf lending leveraged an additional $180 million of public and private investments.
mile high community loan fund (mhclf) provides technical assistance to non-profit affordable housing and community service organizations planning to renovate, acquire, build and/or expand real estate. The technical assistance is provided through workshops and one-on-one consultation. In 2017, mhclf staff provided 57 hours of one-to-one technical assistance and delivered 2 technical assistance seminars to an industry, state-wide audience of approximately 85 affordable housing developers on topics including development resources, project financing, development planning process and financial management topics.
