Mission: To free up and deploy philanthropic capital for deeper impact through both grants and investments. We collaborate with our community of social entrepreneurs, impactinvestors, and philanthropists to maximize the benefit of donor dollars in their communities.
Programs: Impact charitable strives to increase charitable giving by offering donor advised funds. To leverage the impact of donor advised fund assets, impact charitable invests fund assets in select companies that have purposes and practices that are compatibable with the organizations charitable goals. Impact charitables donor advised fund program continued to grow in 2016. Our core investment portfolio is invested based on high environmental, social, and governance standards (esg), while supporting more targeted impact investments and the grant making needs of our community. The organization facilitated 398 grants totaling over $330,000 in 2016. The organization participated in an innovative social impact bond effort supporting full day early childhood education for lower income families near the end of the year and continued to develop a pipeline of local impact investment opportunities.
