Mission: The organization is dedicated to promoting american education overseas, through educational conferences; seminars; american educational fairs. Also provide information & assitance to international students & scholars seeking educational opportunities in united states; perform research and analysis on international educational development projects for purposes of promoting international education exchange & cooperation.
Programs: B. Student services: coordinated overseas student services with the support of local student advising centers to offer general information and advisory sessions, academic counseling and testing, and student health insurance information to international students interested in u. S. Education. Organized short term training programs with the participation of american universities for international students and scholars, including professional training programs, youth leadership programs,internship and certificate programs. Training periods range from 2 weeks to 12 months in the u. S. And in asian countries. Scholarships were awarded to students participated in the hoby taiwan camp and i-leap program.
a. Fair: organized two american education fairs this year in fall,spring. Event cities include seoul, busan, taipei, kaohsiung, taichung, changhua,. Total of 205 schools exhibitors attended these events.
c. Directory: listed over 4,000 u. S. Schools' profiles on the internet. Published the biannual uscampus guide magazine and distributed free copies to 19 countries in asia. Made online versions available for all international students that are seeking u. S. Education.
