Mission: Rooted in positive thinking, iCan House seeks to enhance the lives of neurodivergent individuals by • teaching social skills, • providing educational opportunities, • maintaining a hub for local resources, • and providing a support network for those in need. iCan House provides an optimistic, transformational experience for children, teens, and adults, helping a misunderstood population learn how the world works and how they can succeed in it.
Target demographics: individuals with social and communication challenges, such autism, Asperger's, ADHD, anxiety, etc. and educating and supporting their parents.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 120 individuals every month, plus their parents.
Geographic areas served: Winston Salem North Carolina and surrounding counties
Programs: iClub, Real World Connections, Girl Talk, Small Talk, Real World Humanities, Meet-n-Eat, and One-on-One Social coaching, teaching social, life and communication skills.
