Results: Our Heroes have shared how their relationships with family members have improved due to a significant reduction in PTSD and mTBI symptoms. Many have expressed how they unknowingly isolated themselves, and how the comradery of being with others who have shared similar experiences, both in the chamber and during roundtable discussions, has played a crucial role in their healing. For some, this has led to a successful return to work, while for many families, it has brought a renewed sense of normalcy. The reduction in pain, improved focus, and the desire to re-engage have empowered our Heroes to take better care of themselves and their families, as well as to return to hobbies and tasks that had been neglected for too long.
Target demographics: There is a huge number of those who have served dealing with PTSD/mTBI issues, many will not talk about it due to the stigma that is often attached. Getting in the chamber with others that have the same background creates a safe place to share and heal.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 2024 - We have had 8 graduates of our program and we provided over 100 sessions to veterans and first responders to help spread the word about what Hyperbarics For Heroes provides.
Geographic areas served: We welcome Heroes from across the country to explore the benefits of Hyperbaric Therapy. Our primary focus is offering Veterans and First Responders their first session at no cost, allowing them to experience our program firsthand. This initial session provides valuable insight, enabling them to share their personal experiences with others who could also benefit from the therapy. The next step is to develop a game plan for those willing to make the commitment and complete the mission, 40 sessions of HBAT, 20 sessions of Neurofeedback, and progress testing to be completed in 60 days..
