Mission: The objective of huntsville electro-optical society shall be to stimulate and to facilitate the knowledge and innovation of optics and photonics, promote the mutual interests of its members, and to encourage free discussions of science and engineering among its members and the public.
Programs: Presented and hosted technical seminars at a local university, conducted a student intership program, and awarded scholarships at regional and state level science fairs.
