I've been volunteering with this organization since 2023, and I really enjoy my experience here. We work together, share our precious perspectives, and aspire to do something good for the underserved communities. Really love HRYA!!!
I LOVE EVA!! She is so sweet and i love working with her for the magazine department!! I think my favorite part of volunteering with hrya is seeing how the magazine all comes together towards the end of the production period and seeing the work that each of us did is coming together to make this beautiful publication. I also really like how the editing group always gives constructive feedback on my writing skills - I improved a lot thanks to you guys!! Looking forward to the next issue 6 publication in may :))
It's a very decent organization doing great work abroad. I think it's super meaningful that they are providing education opportunities for the kids in under-resourced communities. I was pretty shocked to learn that even the teachers in the rural African countries are not educated enough to teach their kids, and I love that HRYA is addressing this through the nonprofit work. I am a part of the course development committee, and I enjoy making lessons that the teachers can use in class.
I recently joined HRYA, but it's been really great so far and I like the leadership structure here. I think it definitely gives me more experience in youth advocacy / advocacy writing, but it also is a resume boost for me. As someone from a rural community, there isn't a lot of opportunities around me, so I am really glad that I was able to join HRYA and take up this amazing opportunity.
I have been working in this npo for more than half a year, and I really got a lot of chances for volunteer hour. The environment is super friendly and helpful, everyone is very genuine. The work load is also manageable and the volunteer hour set for each task is reasonable.
this nonprofit is AMAZING! i made lots of friends and did much work for the improvement of human rights here!!! i learned a lot about human rights and begin to be more aware of the lack of enough human rights in our daily life. this nonprofit is really consistent with raising awareness of the importance of human rights !!!luv it soooo much
HRYA is an excellent organization where high-school students are offered many opportunities to engage in researching, fundraising, publishing magazines, and tutoring to make an influence in making this world into a better place.
Participating in human rights youth advocacy has been life-changing! it's about more than just raising awareness; it's about taking action for positive change. Through organizing rallies, drafting petitions, and collaborating with others, I've learned the power of collective effort. Advocating for gender equality, refugee rights, and environmental justice has shaped my worldview and ignited my passion for social justice.
I have volunteered with this nonprofit since the beginning of this year, and my experience with this nonprofit has been nothing but amazing and fulfilling! I especially love working with the magazine department and writing articles - I learned a lot about how to be proactive in identifying community issues. The work environment is also very supportive, and I feel like my writing skills has improved a lot since I joined!!
