Causes: Crime & Law, Dispute Resolution & Mediation
Mission: To provide conflict resolution assistance to residents of harris county through education, referral and alternative dispute resolution services, with emphasis on assisting parties who might not otherwise have access to such services.
Programs: Drc, with funding from harris county, provides the citizens of harris county access to the justice system at no cost through alternative dispute resolution procedures. Intake, information, referral system, and education and training programs, primarily focusing on those who would otherwise have no, or limited, access. Thousands of people are served each year. 7,800 hours of volunteer services were donated by legal professionals during 2017.
