Causes: Interfaith Coalitions, Religion, Religion-Related
Mission: Please see www.kemet.org and www.netjer.org for more information. The House of Netjer was founded to provide a place for the worship of Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) gods. It serves the children of Netjer (the gods and goddesses) and all mankind via service, as encouraged by our spiritual leader, Rev. Tamara Siuda.
Programs: The House of Netjer operates the Tawy House Conference and Retreat Center (www.tawyhouse.org) and the Udjat Foundation for Children (www.udjat.org), both administered from its main temple in Joliet, Illinois. The House also seeks funds to cover operating expenses for more full-time clergy and ministry outreach, to expand our interfaith work in Haiti, Egypt, South Africa and elsewhere, and for ongoing administrative costs associated with its main temple building, acquired in October, 2003.
