Causes: Family Services for Adolescent Parents
Mission: To provide a stable loving home for teen/young adult mothers their childrenunder adult supervision provide educational opportunities life training skills that they will need to become independent self supporting women.
Programs: House of dawn provided safe and stable housing coordination, medical, dental, mental and reproductive health services, case management, and advoacy services parenting instructions, child develoment education, life skills training, and childcare for babies of young mothers. Last fiscal year house of dawn served 23 mothers and 21 children in all programs. Major accomplishments are 99 no repeat pregnancy rate while in program, 75 employment rate, 4 residents completed high school, 2 residents attending college, 7 residents transitioned to permanent housing, 13 family reunifications, 8 residents purchased cars, 19 residents employed. They also served 30 clients thru outreach
