Mission: The mission of Hospice of Acadiana, Inc. is four-fold: To enable pesons with life-threatening conditions to live as fully and comfortable as possible. To emphasize quality rather than length of life. To help people deal with grief. To become an educational resource in the areas of death, dying, terminal care, and related fields.
Geographic areas served: Nine parishes of Acadiana
Programs: To organize well-trained professionals, support staff, and volunteers who provide a comprehensive program of medical care, counseling, and spiritual direction to persons with life-threatening conditions and their families.
