Mission: Hope For Vision is a national non-profit that raises awareness of and funding for research to cure blinding disease. It springs from the conviction that properly educated and inspired, people will join our grassroots movement to speed the development and delivery of promising treatments to the tens of millions losing vision every day. Funds raised by Hope For Vision directly support scientific research to cure blindness at the nation's leading medical research institutions.
Programs: Empower and inform advocates: HFV provides the resources and tools for individuals and groups across the country to start their own fundraising and advocacy efforts. It is also our priority to provide our supporters with the most up-to-date information about current research. Support research: All of the funds raised by Communities of Hope across the country go directly to medical research. Guided by the Board of Visionary Scientists, HFV provides grants to renowned medical institutions that are pursuing the most promising and innovative research conducted today. Spread the word: It is our priority to educate the general public about blinding diseases as well. HFV is a resource for news about blinding disease, the people who are affected by it and the research dedicated to its treatments and cures.
