Over the years, all monies that have been raised for the Building Fund are still locked in place as we await the means to financially run a larger shelter. Other monies, not designated for the Building Fund, have been used to spay and neuter several thousand animals as well as provide needed medical care and surgery to animals in the community.
We are blessed to operate a small rescue shelter out of PetSmart in Fairless Hills, PA. where volunteers care for rescued cats. Each animal that is taken into the facility is tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, updated with vaccinations, and spayed or neutered when age appropriate. All of these veterinary services are paid for through donations. Yes, we are frustrated too that an actual shelter always seems out of our reach; however, we, as volunteers, continue working with what we have and managing our resources wisely. We are very thankful for the number of animals that we are able to rescue and place in loving homes.
