Causes: Breast Cancer
Mission: To provide financial assistance and moral support to qualifying single parent mothers who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are undergoing surgical and/or chemotherapy or other treatments that make it difficult to work, so that regular expenses, such as mortgage or rent, car payments, groceries, and medical expenses not covered by insurance are difficult to meet for these women and their children.
Programs: Two single mothers were helped with the payment of expenses that they could not otherwise meet. Expenses included mortgage or rent payments, car payments, utilities, groceries, childcare, and medical expenses not covered by insurance.
