Mission: Incorporated in 1968, Hope was the first agency in Alaska to provide community supports to children who experienced a developmental disability. Throughout the years we have grown to include adolescents and adults who experience developmental and other physical disabilities. Hope's mission is to provide services that are requested and designed by the individual and their family that result in choice, control, family preservation and community inclusion.
Programs: Hope Community Resources offers a wide variety of services throughout the state of Alaska. In addition to operating over 72 assisted living homes, we provide foster care, respite, family support, and shared-care services along with supported employment services to over 1,000 individuals throughout Alaska. All of our programs focus on the individual and making their dreams come true.
