"You know that feeling you have when you find a hidden treasure? That feeling of shock, excitement, and joy! That’s the feeling I had when I first came to the Hollywood Brazilian Film festival in Hollywood,CA. Great films, great presentations. A rare finding indeed. www.hbrfest.com
I'm a Talent Manager in Hollywood, CA I had the privileged to attend the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival last year. I can't wait to go again! I'm Portuguese and I very seldom hear of Festivals nor any activities that are of Portuguese language in Hollywood. My writer friend from New York, told me about it and suggested I go with my daughters, whom are actresses. We were all welcomed with open arms. Everyone was so friendly. The Entertainment, music, dancers were just a cherry on the top. The films were outstanding. I was able to watch a few of them. I laughed, I cried. I'm so excited there's a festival for Portuguese/Brazilian films. I give the Videography, Directing, Acting all an A+ for these films.
I highly recommend anyone to come and enjoy the films, it's an experience you won't forget.
I had the pleasure to donate my services as an entertainer with my band Nobresil to the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival. Our show was welcomed by the organization and the audience with enthusiasm. They were outstanding and everybody was very kind to us. Before our performance we also had the chance to view some new Brazilian movies and we had the time of our life. The screenings offered were very interesting and I would have never enjoyed those movies if it wasn't for this organization. They do not only help the promotion of the Brazilian culture and fine arts but also reward the American and foreign audience with the unique chance to see products that would not be accessible otherwise. In fact every year they grant us the discovery of true gems of the Brazilian cinema and they allow the public to appreciate one of the many aspects of the rich Brazilian cultural identity. The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival deserves to be recognized and awarded for creating a much better understanding of diversity and appreciation of intercultural connections!
I love this festival! it shows Brazilian films , which lately has been great movies with great quality.
This festival is amazing. I'm studying cinema and many Brazilians talk about this festival. I think it's very important because encourage and help independent artists to show their films to the world.

My name is Leonardo Liberti. I’m CEO and founder of Libertà Films in Brazil. I have 6 Cannes Lions, Grammy nominations, VMA Brazil Nominations and other awards. We work with more than 50 great brands (PULLMAN, MERCURY, OGILVY, HAVAS, SOFITEL, IBIS UNILEVER, CLARO, BRAZIL’S BANK, MAPFRE, BRADESCO, JAGUAR, WARNER MUSIC, MTV, and so on), and important artists. Then, we really know the difficult to create art without great budgets or just try to purpose new languages and concepts.
What this Festival is doing for the culture is amazing. All people involved give the possibility to show new works, exchange culture, visions, and the most important: create new ways to produce cinema away from casts and obsolete theories.

The Hollywood Brazilian film festival is an amazing event. As a filmmaker I am able to meet people who I normally do not have access too and they put on excellent panels. They bring films that otherwise I would have difficulty seeing. Its a festival I look forward to every year.
