Mission: Holland Hall was chartered in 1930, following its founding as a college preparatory school for girls in 1922. In its seventy-five year history, Holland Hall has grown from 60 students and eight teachers to a school of nearly 1,000 students and more than 180 faculty, teacher''s assistants and staff. Its mission of teaching a challenging college preparatory education while giving attention to the individual student has remained central throughout its history. Proud of its college preparatory tradition, 100% of its graduates are routinely accepted to college while benefiting from a "state-of-the-art" progressive educational philosophy. In a decision aimed at focusing Holland Hall''s community on our commonly held values and beliefs, the Board of Trustees has recently adopted the following Mission Statement and Essential Qualities of a Holland Hall Graduate: MISSION: Holland Hall provides a challenging, comprehensive educational experience grounded in a rigorous liberal arts, college preparatory curriculum that promotes critical thinking and life-long learning. A PreK-12 Episcopal school, we seek to foster in each student a strong moral foundation and a deep sense of social responsibility. ESSENTIAL QUALITIES: MORAL ? Programs: Holland Hall was a school for girls in the upper grades until 1959, when boys were admitted. That same year, the School affiliated with the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma, which strengthened the School s commitment to the spiritual development of its students and to financia' aid for a broadly based 1000-member student body. Campus facilities on our 162-acre campus include the Upper, Middle and Primary Schools, All Saints Chapel, two gymnasiums, a weight-lifting/fitness facility, the Walter Arts Center, an Outdoor Sports Complex with an all-weather track, six football/field hockey/soccer fields, two baseball and one softball field, 12 tennis courts, two cross-country and hiking trails, and numerous outdoor education sites.
