Mission: Hijos del Sol (HDS) is dedicated to creating opportunities and inspiring children and youth in the Salinas Valley through visual and multicultural arts education. We provide mentorship and help young people develop artistic and life skills while embracing their cultural identities.
Results: In 2023, Hijos del Sol reached 2,269 youth and engaged over 1,600 community members through our special events. Our programs have significantly boosted participants' sense of belonging, confidence in problem-solving, and skill development.
