Programs: Book development and productionheyday publishes more than a dozen new books a year. We specialize in nonfiction about california, focusing on history, nature, and indigenous cultures. Our staff bring manuscripts to completion, from editing the text and designing the book to printing and selling copies.
fiscal sponsorshipheyday serves as fiscal sponsor for its author john muir laws, who runs a nature journaling club and is developing a science education curriculum. We also serve as fiscal sponsor for holding ground, a small producer of documentary films about environmental stewardship, a subject area that overlaps significantly with heyday's work.
