I am a teacher in Milwaukee. The Governor of Wisconsin has greatly cut education funding over the past eight years. I have had to resort to using a crowdfunding source called DonorsChoose.org to get material my students need to succeed because of the cuts at the state level. Herb Kohl is a friend to public education and always has been. Over the past eight years Herb Kohl Educational Foundation has funded projects written by teachers on DonorsChoose.org. He is a guardian angel for teachers and students. On numerous occasions his foundation has fully funded all Wisconsin projects on a single day. My students would lack the materials they need without this foundation. Thank you Herb Kohl Educational Foundation for making it easier to teach because I have the proper materials to do so!
