Henry for Music / Henry Arts Alliance is now working into its Fouth Year providing over 150 instruments to children that allows them to participate in their school music program. Youth Orchestra United has been launched this year to provide children the opportunity to learn and play violin, viola and cello. We provide the instruments and teacher with No tuition cost. Our Music Room Space is provided by The Henry County Parks & Recreation Dept. As we grow in our donor support we will move into more locations where no school orchestras are provided to our children. Our first concert will take place in December and working to also conduct a summer program with other classes beginning in the 2019-20 After-School Programs.

Great News - Heritage Community Foundation provided Henry for Music (Henry Arts Alliance) a Grant funding that will now allow to refurbish used donated musical instruments with the help of local music stores. This process will assure that each child will have a playable instrument when they enter their school music program. We are still needing 18 more instruments (flutes, trumpets, clarinets, alto sax, and snare drums) for one middle school. Communities In Schools, Henry is partnered to find the kids that can not afford to rent or buy the needed instrument, but they are still hungry for music.
