Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: Dci is dedicated to providing opportunities and support to persons with mental and physical disabilities in their pursuit of achieving the full potential in their lives.
Programs: Medicaid waiver residential, day, and personal assistance. Residential - this includes both group homes and supporting living in four counties. Thirty eight individuals are served. Achievements are related to community activities and daily living skills. Day - this includes services to individuals in prevocational training centers, community based activities, opportunities for work, and serves approximately one hundred and fifteen individuals. Acheivements are related to providing oversight/trasportation for physicians/appointments and providing leisure and learning activities. Personal assistance - provides assistance to individuals who live in their own home. Acheivemnts include helping individuals with daily life skills.
