Mission: The healthcare consortium of illinois is an organization of partners committed to developing and maintaining targeted, community-based, integrated health and human service delivery systems which increase the well-being of individuals, families and communities throughout illinois by means of advocacy, awareness and action.
Programs: Senior care:to provide case management services for seniors and elderly within chicago and nearby surrounding suburbs.
healthy start:to provide services in the prevention of infant immortality and to provide prenatal and infant services to mothers.
entire care: to provide medicaid-related case management services to individuals 55 and over within chicago and surrounding suburbs.
the other programs of the healthcare consortium of illinois are: breast cancer education, hiv/aids awarenessand distribution of information into the community regardingthe dangers as well as current treatments for this disease. Workforce development:the consortium's workforce development program has a primaryfocus of getting its clients instituted or reinstituted intothe workforce from welfare. Although this appears to be a human development program, the consortium believes thatit focuses on family health.
