In the decade+ that the Raven Performing Arts Theater has existed, it has become a true community gathering place, serving every local school and many other local nonprofits. It continues to offer a wide range of entertainment for its region. With only 1 full-time employee and more than 100 volunteers, it operates on a shoestring budget to host about 120-130 events and more than 17,000 audience members each year. It has also launched a number of highly unusual but popular annual events, including the all-male beauty pageant spoof, the Mr. Healdsburg Pageant. It's truly become a key part of Healdsburg's unique personality.
