HCV Support is basically a blog that has chat rooms - with conversations mostly controlled by a few longtime moderators. Although there can be very good information, at times, in some respects it appears to be a promotion agency for the newest pharmaceuticals available. Even when international organizations have challenged the extreme overpricing of new drugs, the moderators were hostile to criticism of these new products. I was shocked at the $100,000 cost of one drug and was shut down by the administrator. Given that this is supposed to be a support net - given that the moderators are, for the most part, no longer ill - and given that I am - I find their actions unprofessional in the extreme.
