Brooks rehabilitation at halifax health is daytona's only level ii trauma center, and also holds a comprehensive stroke center designation. This facility allows patients with acute rehabilitation needs to stay close to home during their recovery. The center, located within halifax hospital, specializes in treating stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, and other complex orthopedic conditions. A full spectrum of physical and neuro rehabilitation services are provided, using of the latest rehabilitation equipment. The center features a true rehab-centric design with a vibrant and active theme. Team members use patient rooms, hallways, and a dedicated gym space to teach functional improvement and compensatory skills to patients.
