Programs: Information and education. Issued 150 electronic notices of public meetings and events to 250 individuals. Published previews of agendas and reports of actions taken by hartford city council at 22 meetings. Hosted 11 public access television shows on city council matters. Tabled at 2 community events. Hosted public workshops on education reform, candidate finance law, the town committee system, and economic development issues. Hosted presentations at monthly meetings on city government's legislative agenda, local education reform efforts, public safety issues, the city's consolidated community development plan, the closing of the landfill, the development of a new city plan of conservation and development, and recycling. As a member of the hartford votes coalition, hosted six non-partisan candidate forums and two election fairs. Participated in voter registration day and mailed postcards to 1000 people reminding them to vote on election day. City of hartford provided $8,878 in in-kind support for postage for mailings.

neighborhood issues. Presented public programs on lowering the interstate overpass, environmental issues, public safety, and use of federal community development funds. Assisted neighborhoods in implementing anti-blight strategies, securing benefits at the closing of the landfill, having input into the city's plan of conservation & development, securing funding for neighborhood infrastructure projects, and developing citywide neighborhood standards.

nrz support. Assisted five neighborhood revitalization zones (nrzs) to complete the updates of their strategic plans. Provided fiscal sponsorship services to asylum hill nrz and administrative support to css/con nrz. Prepared and submitted 23 anti-blight complaints on behalf of nrzs for blighted properties. Prepared and submitted input on behalf of the nrzs to the city on the draft plan of conservation & development.
