Mission: To support habitat for humanity affiliates by helping god's people in need of decent shelter. The association helps the helpers, recruits new sources of support to eliminate poverty housing in alabama and improves awareness of the need for good, decent housing.
Programs: The neighborhood stabilization program provides funds for the acquisition and rehabilitataion of residential properties, and the related financing costs necessary for the sale of these properties, in teh areas of birmingham/jefferson county, huntsville/madison county, and mobile county alabama.
the association operates a restore, selling new and used building and home improvement materials to the general public at reduced prices. The primary mission of the restore is to support habitat in its mission of building new homes for low income families in alabama.
the association receives various smaller grants that are used to support training, marketing, and various other programs supported by the association.
