Effective july 2013, the articles of incorporation were amended to reflect a transfer of the board of directors and to change the name of the entity to h. O. P. E. Gagnon housing corporation. The entity receives assistance under provisions of section 202 of the national affordable housing act. Such projects are regulated by the united states department of housing and urban development as to rent charges and operating methods.
